  1. Take care at what you eat

Like any other cleaning process, it is very important to take care of your diet as well. A healthy diet is responsible for providing your body with nutrients that will support it during this process. There are foods that are particularly beneficial for the health of your lungs:

Water – Replace coffee, alcohol and soda with water. It keeps your body hydrated and stimulates the cleansing process.

Chili –  It is a very powerful food as it helps your lungs get rid of all that harmful mucus and tar.

Onion – Similar to chili, onion manages to break down the mucus from your lungs and eliminates the harmful toxins as well.

  1. Exercise!

Clean your lungs with some breathing exercises. Learn how:

  • Take a relaxed position
  • Breathe deeply through your nose 4-5 times
  • Then, breathe through the nose and exhale through the mouth very slowly. Eliminate all the air inside your chest by urging your diaphragm, until you feel that your stomach is sucked in.
  • Use your nose to breathe in some fresh air until you fill the lungs
  • Hold your breath for 5 seconds;
  • Now clear your lungs by exhaling all the air through your mouth
  • Repeat the exercise several times during the lung cleaning process.

Etheric oils, such as eucalyptus, rosemary, peppermint or thyme, help your body eliminate the toxins from your lungs, keeping them clean and healthy.

Boil some water and add several drops of oil. Inhale the steam and you will soon see positive results: you will be more relaxed and you will breathe easily.

  1. Clean your lungs with herbs

Ginger is rich in antioxidants and manages to detox your lungs in a matter of time. You can either prepare some tea and add some lemon, or you can have a 20 minute bath and use some ginger powder. Your lungs will be toxin-free and your breathing will be normal again. Alternatively, you can add some fresh ginger with every meal you have in order to stimulate digestion and clean your body.

Colsfoot and uvata are very well known detox stimulus. Consume them with regularity to have cleaner lungs and a stronger respiratory system.

Watercress is believed to be an obligatory ingredient when you want to clean your lungs.  Prepare the following soup and consume it two times a month in order to have positive effects:

Boil together 1 kg of watercress, 4 glasses of water and 2 glasses of Urmi. When they start boiling, reduce the flame to minimum and let them cook for four hours. When it is ready, season the soup as you want and “Bon apetit!”.

Note: During the cleaning process, stay away from processed foods, dairy products, sugar and white flour, but also avoid smoking or frequenting smoky areas. The result will only be positive if you respect all these suggestions and you are really determined to do this step.
